One good thing about the SPOT Messenger is that Dad can press the Help button for non-emergency situations where he needs some help. He could be out in the car or on the snowmobile and be stuck or broke down. Someone will need to get to him soon but there's no need for emergency personnel (yet).

When a HELP message is received, Phil gets a text message and a high-priority email so no matter what he's doing, he'll be able to see the message. Phil will coordinate an action plan depending on where Dad is at when he presses the button. In addition to this Richard & Marion and Deb & Joe will receive an email as well. Phil's cell phone number is 616-490-8263. If Phil cannot be reached at this number during normal business hours call his office at 616-776-1600 and ask them to locate him.

• If the HELP message comes from up north, attempt to contact Richard, Craig, or some other people who live in the area that could help.
• If the HELP message comes from near his home, attempt to contact Janet or Laurie. John Odette would be good to contact as well.

If Phil is somehow unavailable coordination should happen through Joe.
